You go down to 1, the problem is when you have DoT's on you and you go down to one..
or a stray arrow...
or a fireball...
Etc.
Also Do you remeber where you got it? I got it on my first warrior, but seemed to miss it on my second, and I can't remember where I got it, all I know is that it was before Piken Square.

I tend to use the skill at the start of the battle so any DoT's or other types of damage that hit me are basically ignored.

I don't quite remember, it may have been Warmaster Grast (sp?) just outside Ascalon in Old Ascalon.

I was under the impression I lose 160 when it ends regardless, so taking damage at beginning of the battle with it on will still result in damage after it wears off. I'll have to experiment with it some more.

I've been playing around with it, and I can't remember if I lost the life or not. Most of the time it seems to boost my life bar up a certian %, then after the skill ends, it converts to a percent of some kind. I've been using it like a heal lately, but never paid attention to the numbers. Middle of battle stuff makes it kinda hard to stop and fool around with the numbers. Have to test it tonight...

I agree with you, I also tend to use the skill to counter dot's or the nasty effect of empathy cast upon me while my warrior is slashing away under the influences of Frenzy. Curse that empathy spell.

I find it most useful in PvP. In a best-case scenario, it gives your healer(s) or yourself some extra time to get a heal in and keep you alive. It's also a good psychological weapon; nothing is more vexing than when you've almost killed your target, only to have his life jump up 200 points. Furthermore, it's not a spell, a heal, or an enchantment in any way, so it dodges most Mesmer hexes and the like if you're really in a pinch.
More commonly, however, I simply use it to inflict more damage to the enemy before I die. My main Warrior PvP build is an engine of destruction.
No Pity! No Remorse! No Fear!

Endure Pain is very under-rated. Its amazing how much it saves my butt. Right now it boosts me about 260 health. (I have 9 strength) I use it all the time with frenzy. Makes up for the double damage.
